In less than a month, the election will have taken place. We are in the most intense days right now. It is a battle! Look to Ephesians 6:10-11 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.” Prayer is a powerful weapon and we need to use it right now!!! We become strengthened by this armor with the very strength of Jesus. His power to win at the cross, is ours in prayer. The different pieces of the armor are all parts of who Jesus is, and when applied to our prayers, they make those prayers undefeatable! Put on the armor and you will be able to stand firm when Satan attacks you. Before praying, we often experienced the inability to overcome the devil. It seems that nothing we try or say makes a dent as we pray to God. Satan seems to be winning and overcoming. But, here is the good news; God’s armor has never been beaten! There is no hole in the armor or broken weapons given to us. Satan can slash with his swords, swing his hammers, throw his spears and even hit his target with the heaviest hit we have ever felt… but once the smoke clears, we will see that we are still standing and Satan is gone!!! Right now, let’s pray and put on this weaponry of prayer; “Father into Your hands I commit my life and the outcome of this battle for our country. Defeat Satan’s schemes. Overthrow his tricks and deceptive plans. Win the day! May You receive all the glory to Your Name alone! In Jesus Name, Amen.”
