Today is our day to worship. We lift up God’s promises to us that He will both judge the evil in this world, and He will build a new day when hope wins! Prayer has been challenged by those who ask, “Why does God allow evil in this world? How can you say that He is all powerful and good? Evil is flourishing around us and even to us, therefore God is not real, nor are prayers ever really heard!” These people often conclude, “It is up to us to solve our problems for God does not exist.” Sadly, many in this world have settled within themselves that this is the truth! Thankfully, it is not the truth. God allows evil to prevail for a certain amount of time, for many reasons. Timing is everything! Sometimes, when God is silent, He can seem to be absent. But we must never confuse the silence of God for His absence. He is here, now! He is always is here! Those who turn to Him are asked to wait… and to be of good courage! Wait on God and you will not be disappointed! Those who wait in prayer for God’s timing will experience great answers to prayer! If we demand action from Him, saying “I want results now or else”, then we limit God’s plan for our lives and hinder our eternal perspective. God is always working through everything that happens in our lives. He brings the pieces of the puzzle of my life together! One day, the fragmented pieces of my life’s journey all seem to declare, “God is Sovereign and good, He is wise and just!” Jesus is always the focus! Remember… His lowest point, the cross, was His greatest victory! We are given the hope and promise that God sees all, and He will deal with all of the injustice and evil! Pray for His will be to be done and it will be so… in His time! “Father, hear our requests and we will wait on Your timing, in Jesus Name. Amen!”
