Tomorrow is our day to worship. Let’s reflect on what we have prayed and thought about this week. We focused on the Precious Lamb and His shepherding skills over our lives. He is the Lamb firstly, and then the Shepherd secondly. His life among us is that of a Sweet and Gentle Lamb Who gave everything He had for our salvation. As the Lamb, He went through every temptation we go through. This qualifies Him to be our Shepherd! Who knows better than He, what a sheep feels or needs in his heart and life? He felt every burden we feel, every loss we have experienced, every pain we have agonized with, and still never sinned or disqualified Himself by sinning. He never failed to do the right thing! Therefore, He can counsel us, comfort us, and promise us victory! The fact that He was first the Lamb, makes Him the most effective Shepherd there ever has been or could be! Heb 13:20-21 – “Now the God of peace who brought up from the dead, the Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” As we get ready to worship tomorrow, remind yourself of His great abilities and wisdom that qualifies Him to be your great Shepherd!
