Today we worship the Precious Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world! Let’s focus on Him with great gratitude and reverence in prayer. On Sundays we have been studying the book of Revelation and the gift from Jesus of His Revelation of the future. We have seen how His Kingdom will eventually remove the empires of this world and then He will rule and nurture all those who are under His leadership. The change to His Kingdom and leadership will be like taking a breath of fresh clean air! In contrast, focusing on man’s rule and Satan’s tricking and ruling over man will be more like trying to breath in a breath of smoky ashes. Cough! Cough! Let’s review, again, what Jesus has in mind for when He rules over us. Rev. 7:14 -15 “These are the ones coming through and arriving safely out of the great tribulation. And they have washed their robes (2x in Revelation referring to those who gain the benefit of Christ’s blood washing away their sins) AND they are made white in the blood of the precious Lamb. (the very white that Jesus had in His transformation). Because of this (the washing of their robes in His blood) they are face to face before the Throne of God, AND they are serving (the service of worship and other sacred duties in the divine activity of worship) day and night in His temple (holy place and holy of holies area). See the cleansing of our stained robes? We are made as white as Jesus is white, and are free from the stains that kept us outside the holy of holies. We are able and welcomed to be near our Lord. We boldly approach, with the deepest desire to worship Him through prayer, this throne of grace! Clean saints are praying saints… eager to serve Him! Clean saints are serving Him day and night. His will is our desire. His slightest whim is our greatest command. Love in every thought and gesture flows from Him to us and from us to Him. What causes this love? The gift of His blood that has made us, even the worst sinner, the best worshipper! We have this position right now, before entering heaven, cleansed and washed from every stain, blameless and faultless, justified (declared and made right) before God’s holy view of us. Nothing stands between us and our King. Near and clear is our status. This means that we are fully empowered and directed by God to help our city, our state, and our nation with service that flows from hearts filled with love and stamina. “Day and night” these servants work. Today, let’s ask Him for the renewed strength of Isaiah 40:31. He will give it! Start this week fresh and clean! Let’s be ready to help others to come to know Him. “Father, hear our prayer of gratitude for our cleansing from You. We pray for direction in helping others learn the knowledge of You. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
