Today we pause to think about the path a person must take in order to gain the knowledge of God. What must be done to become a follower of Christ? Most people will start with understanding and accepting the Truth that; God is their Creator. Pray for questions to stir. Pray for them to be curious about, and ask things like; Where did all this creation come from? Where did all this intelligent design come from? Where did the knowledge of right and wrong come from? Where did my sense of justice come from? (especially when I have been wronged or treated unjustly) Where did all the global religions originate? Why are we so drawn to worship something? Pray for people to ask questions about artifacts and archaeological findings that seem to prove the past activity of God in events such as the flood, Jericho, Sodom and Gomorrah? All in all…questions are crucial! All the while you are asking, or being asked questions, remember to be praying! Pray to have eyes opened to the Truth of who God is! Pray this prayer over their search; “O God, reveal Yourself to them.” You might even suggest that they take a challenge and pray this prayer for 30 days- “O God, if there is a God, reveal Yourself to me!” See what happens! Amen!
