Today we worship! We seek to have hearts that worship with powerful life and spiritual health. Remember, Sardis was the church that had a name that they were alive and healthy, but they had no life or health in the actuality of their lives and church. They were ignorant of their lack of life, spiritual life! Read Rev 3:1-6. Pray that you will possess the gift of Jesus Who promised, “I have come that you might have life, and that abundantly!” (John 10:10). Life moves us and empowers us in everything we do. Jesus revealed , “You will receive power after the Holy Spirit comes to you, and you shall be My witnesses” (Acts 1:8) He is promising for us to be a testimony of His power (life), everywhere we go. We can and will have life and power in prayer, life and power in sharing our testimony with others, life in growing and in transforming power over sin and Satan. His life in us opens our eyes and ears and mouths to serve Him… and others! Do you have this life? If not, let’s ask for Jesus to give it to you TODAY! It is His gift. Joining with someone else in this prayer will multiply that power. Let’s take a few minutes and join our voices in united prayer asking for new life and power in our walks with Christ. Experience today the fresh power and life of the indwelling Lord Jesus. He dwells in our hearts and on the throne of our lives as the Guiding Force in prayer and service. Cry out to Him to lift us from fatal lethargy and inactivity in expanding and strengthening the Kingdom of God. Without Him we can do nothing, but with Him we can do all things that God commands and encourages us to do! This is what it means to be “alive and healthy” in Christ!
