Pray for those in entertainment to be creative and to point our enjoyment toward righteous efforts. Pray the stories told and made into movies inspire strong character within those watching. May they surge with courage, sacrifice, unselfishness, giving life and not taking life. Honoring marriages and strong family values. Sports that promote skill, intensity in competition, honesty and fairness. May our music and the songs we create stir our hearts for patriotism and loving our fellow man, developing good thinking and great character. Let’s pray for artists and painters, for poets and book writers to be filled with fresh material that deepens our thinking and expressions of healthy emotions. These are big prayers, but we need to believe God will open these many doors in this nation.
