Pray for those who are being persecuted for their walk and love for God. One may ask, is there anyone I know who is being criticized and mocked or ridiculed for their stand as a Christian? Are you being rejected and treated harshly for your faith? What do we pray for ourselves? To continue on and be consistent, to be a light in a dark place. Pray wider than yourself and include the many Christians in India, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, China, North Korea, Sudan, Indonesia, Arabia; for these areas of the world are very pressured and unjustly treated for their faith. What is the promise to them, and anyone being treated with injustice for their faith? Their reward is great in Heaven! They will be ranked next to the Old Testament prophets who were treated the same way. All Heaven will honor them and they will be given the joy of Heaven itself.
