We will pray for the next 100+ days specifically for our families, fellow workers, our city or selected streets, even our own block. But most of all we are praying for our beloved nation, which right now is in deep need of prayer. Why so long a time? I was inspired by the three stories of Nehemiah, Ezra, and Esther. Their world was in great need and these heroes turned to prayer and fasting. They were claiming the promises of YHWH. And what happened? Powerful changes for the entire nation! These needed changes came directly from their relationship with God unleashed by their prayers. Read them and be inspired. Let’s follow their example and I am certain that the same God who heard them will hear us. Let us pray!
